What skills and abilities do you cover?
Specific programme content includes:
- What is coaching? When does this style of conversation work well - and when does it not?
- How can coaching work for you, e.g. in your role, with your colleagues and teams?
- Core coaching skills, specifically:
- Different levels of listening, and how to access them
- How to build better rapport, openness, and influence
- How to ask questions that surface information, insight, and ideas
- How to give constructive feedback messages re: performance/behaviour
- Conversation structures: The Coaching Path & Response Coaching
- Coach mindset: Beliefs as behaviour - managers who coach (and managers who don’t)
- Take coaching forward, your plan for action, development themes and goals.
Your Learning Journey
Our Lead Through Coaching Programme
Over a twelve-week learning journey, managers shift how they think and act during interactions, to support the engagement, and performance of others. Between live events, managers try out new ideas and principles in their workplace, to steadily build better conversational skill.
As an additional option, we offer three, 1:1 coaching sessions as part of the programme - for costs and acceptance criteria, please get in touch.
